Went for a Sunday afternoon of culture and education at the Powerhouse Museum which surprisingly (to us at least) has been around for about 100 years. We assumed it was a recent development like the Tate Modern in London.
Primarily we went for the Diana Exhibition but were wowed by such articles like a massive gaudy clock, James Watts big steam boiler and some rather boring sustainable living exhibition.
We've decided to add some of our favourite photos direct on here to cater for those who wouldn't be arsed to wade through endless photos of cliffs and us making faces (don't worry there are still plenty of those in the Picasa galleries)

Christine, do they have Specsavers in Australia? I'd nip around there in the morning if I were you. Those ones you're wearing do nothing for you.
Dougal seems to have grown in the second photo.
Is the dog/cat in the third photo expelling a yellow cloud, or has he got a pointy yellow thing stuck up his behind?
