Kings of Leon

We were so excited to see Kings of Leon. The venue was excellent - not too small and not too big and it was air conditioned! As the place crowded up Dave bent down and for the first time saw what Chris sees from her perspective. So we tried to avoid standing behind huge boys and made our way up to the front. He even lifted her up a few times. When Kings of Leon came out everyone went mad. They were so good and we didn't stay still for one song. We got so so sweaty and ugly but we didn't care! What a good gig. Here is Fans.

We were exhausted getting back but the bus and train came right away and we got to look at some Ozzy fashion from today's younglings. It's great! We went and got a kebab and Chris got humus and chicken in hers while Dave got the extremely spicy one. We also took photos of our neighbourhood. Just for the record. Newtown, Enmore and Stanmore are not sleazy areas - there are just a lot of goth shops about as a lot of hippy and cool people live here.

Also we killed a few cockroaches before we got to our street. It's great fun running after and jumping on them! We filmed some exciting shots and encountered a new friend, Jiminy Cricket.

Must have been absolutely brilliant. I am sooooo jealous!!! And you were right up at the front too. Did they play "The Bucket" and "Joe's Head"? Probably not "Joe's Head" - I think that I'm the only person who likes it (or knows the words), but that's just the way of the world.
Then, to top it all we get "When You Wish Upon a Star". The Kings of Leon should add it to their set as a Christine tribute.

Cheers Dad, woulda been mad craic if you'd been there jumping around at the front. They did play Joe's Head. You're not alone both Chris and I like the song and a certain Ratz Coyle has professed to if being one of his favourite kings of leon songs.

Yeah. We were saying it would have been class if you and Breda would have been there.

Still think Daniel O'Donnel is better. I bet the Kings of Leon can't dance!

Kings are Brendan's favourite band. He'll be really jealous when I tell him. Frigger is going skiing to Boston and he's costing me a fortune buying Helly Hanson gear on the internet. He's also for Santa Ponsa in the summer and has "borrowed" the money for his deposit. Some of your 'photos are tip top. Job as a paparazzo when you get back?
