The Whitsundays

Our 3 day trip on The Card around the Whitsundays was awesome! The Whitsundays are a group of 74 islands off Airlie Beach and is the 3rd best sailing place in the world next to the Carribean and the Greek Islands. Our group had the coolest people and our crew were crazy! We had an amazing time! Check the photos to see what we mean.

just as well you have plenty of pics cos I don't think you'll remember much about your "voyage" by the look of you.
P.S. Was that a great white lying across the dingy or was it a snapshot of Dave's bum?
Looks fantastic! (The holiday not Dave's bum)Next to all this a dip in Lough Foyle will be just like going through the motions!

Mancy Chris!!!!! How class to hear from you. We always talk about you on our trip as we remember all the cool things you told us about while you travelled. We went on the sailing boat The Card on the Whitsundays. Only 16 of us and we all got on great. We were the oldest so we had to set a good example for the younglings....
We didn't see any Great Whites but we did see a great white wily on Whithaven beach!

I am not a wuss! I snorkelled the hell out of the Great Barrier Reef despite my massive fear of sharks.

Will call and see you up manc way in few months for defs.

Daddy and Mammy. Sorry for my insane email yesterday. I had cabin fever but I am back to my quiet self again today after a 10 hour trip over night on a freezing cold bus. You would love the Whitsundays. Will you take us there next summer for a holiday? Why don't you invest in a boat? You, John and Veronica could easily afford that, surely? Liked your comment about dave's bum. Hope you and wee Ciaran had a ball in WaterWorld. xoxo

The boat trip looked like great fun. Reminds me of the Toucan Two. We've got our boat on order -- hope I've got enough puff to blow it up!! The white sand beach looked fantastic. I didn't think much of your sandcastle though -- no turrets and no moat. Which one was Big Willy anyway?

South Molle looked like a tropical paradise -- until the drink took effect when it all went rapidly downhill. I see that David has added pole dancing to his CV.

John could probably wangle us a boat as a tax loss! It's not fair expecting the puffs to blow it up though!
